What ID do I need for delivery?

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID proving you're 21 or older (California Driver License, state ID, U.S. passport, military ID, or tribal ID). Medical patients 18+ must also show a current state-issued MMJ card.

Does Kwiki scan or photograph my ID?

Our driver verifies your ID visually at the door. For first-time customers, our dispatch team may request a photo of your ID (and a selfie with it) during account setup — this is required by California Business and Professions Code § 26160 and handled over an encrypted channel. We do not store scan images longer than our 30-day audit retention window.

What if the name on my order doesn't match the ID?

The ID must match the name on the order. We cannot deliver to someone other than the account holder. Delivering to a third party is a violation of CA DCC rules and will result in the order being returned and a forfeit of any promo credit.

California law (Business & Professions Code § 26140 and DCC regulation § 15404) requires that every cannabis delivery be verified against a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. This is non-negotiable and applies to every order — first-time and repeat customers alike.

How we handle your ID data

Encrypted transit: ID photos are transmitted over TLS-encrypted channels and never over plain email.
Restricted access: Only dispatch and compliance personnel can view verification records.
Retention: Photo verifications are retained for 30 days for audit purposes, then permanently purged unless a flag requires longer retention under 16 CCR § 15043.
No third-party sale: We never sell, share, or transfer ID data for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
Your rights: You may request deletion of your verification record at any time after 30 days by emailing kwikideliverymedia@gmail.com.

At-the-door verification

When your driver arrives:

You must be present in person — we cannot leave cannabis products with anyone other than the account holder.
You must show your physical, unexpired ID. A photo or digital copy is not accepted.
The name on your ID must match the name on the order.
If you appear intoxicated, visibly impaired, or unable to complete the transaction, our driver will cancel the delivery and return the product, per DCC § 15411.

Medical patients 18+ with a valid California MMJ recommendation or MMIC card may order from our medical menu. The FIRST14 offer applies only to adult-use (21+) first orders.

Does Kwiki keep a copy of my ID? ▼

For first-time customers only, we retain your ID verification for 30 days per DCC audit requirements, after which it is permanently purged unless a compliance flag requires longer retention under 16 CCR § 15043.

What if my delivery address doesn't match my ID? ▼

Your ID address does not need to match your delivery address. Many customers order to work, a friend's house, or a hotel. However the name on the ID must match the name on the order.

Can someone else sign for my order? ▼

No. California DCC rules require the account holder to personally receive the delivery and present ID. Our driver cannot leave the product with a roommate, family member, or concierge.

Terms & fine print

FIRST14 promo terms: One redemption per household, identified by address and phone number. Minimum subtotal $60 before tax. Applies to adult-use (21+) customers only; cannot be combined with the weekly BOGO flower promo. Offered flower will be the 14g shmedium-shelf strain in rotation at time of order — specific strain is dispatcher's choice. Kwiki reserves the right to decline, modify, or end this promotion at any time. Not valid where prohibited.

Pricing disclosure: All prices include applicable CA cannabis excise tax (15%) and sales tax unless otherwise noted. Delivery is free on orders of $60+; $5 service fee applies to qualifying orders under $60.
